Several hints regarding Resident Evil 9 can be gleaned from Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Ashley Light.
There is no official announcement yet about Resident Evil 9 from Capcom. However, with the success of Resident Evil Village and especially Resident evil 4 Remake, many fans are waiting for information about the sequel of this series.
Some rumors suggest that Resident Evil 9 will continue to pursue the survival horror style of previous episodes, with frightening storylines and fascinating plot. There will probably be the appearance of familiar characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and most notably Ashley.
In Resident Evil 4 Remake, players can play Ashley in a completely refreshed quest, in which players use different and more engaging mechanisms than the original game. According to GameRant’s pen, this is most likely the mechanism that Capcom will use in Resident Evil 9.
In the game called Ashley Light, Resident Evil 4 Remake makes a number of changes that increase the appeal and horror of the gameplay. Taking the role of Ashley in the Remake feels much more frightening when players once again take the place of an Everyman-style character, as the brand did in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident evil Village with the protagonist Ethan. Ashley Light is a short gameplay, but its powerful effects may be a sign of what is coming in Resident Evil 9.
